Project Manager Safe and Secure Truck Parking

Role summary

The Project manager is responsible for coordinating, supporting, steering, and controlling the profitable expansion of TIP’s Safe and Secure Parking facilities. This includes preparing execution plans in close cooperation with the regions, building a central center of knowledge, defining value propositions, executing operational, and commercial processes, reporting to management, and coordinating complex processes such as EU funding, legislation, and building permissions.

Supporting regional project managers, services and operational teams will also be crucial for the rollout of TIP Secure Truck Parkings. Structured interactions and working sessions with the regional teams are necessary to define the (local) go-to-market strategies and execution of the plans. Coordinating and managing proposed development projects for large and complex Greenfield developments and/or acquisitions will also be required.

Accountability

Coordinate, support, steer, and control the SSTP projects in various parts of Europe, from a central level. He or She should have strong project and organizing skills and will report to the VP of Services.

Qualifications

• University or bachelor’s degree
• Preferably added with PMP, Lean Black belt (or similar)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in project management and/or business development
• Experience in aftermarket services for commercial vehicles/ Transportation/Logistics
• Broad knowledge of the transportation and logistics sector and related services is preferred
• A solid track record of delivering projects in a complex Pan-European organization and technical environment
• Ability to persuade and motivate teams with personal impact, drive, resilience, and calmness under pressure.
• Self-confident and self-aware manager with the ability to engage, motivate, advise and assist remote or extended teams
• Excellent active listening, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to deliver against ambitious goals, demanding deadlines, and key milestones.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional, multi-cultural, and matrix organizations
• Team player with a collaborative mindset. Ability to function independently, eager to learn, and analytically strong
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language
• Willing and able to travel (20-40%)
